James Hornberger Obituary

James L. Hornberger, 38, of Newmanstown, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11:02AM, in the Reading Hospital as a result of a traumatic accident.

James was born September 12, 1980, in West Reading, the son of Adam and Roxanne.

James loved to spend time with his children. James also had a love for rap music and often spent time rapping and writing his own raps. James called himself "Second Son". Besides his sons and music he also loved his dog "Blue". James was a loving, caring person who will be greatly missed by many people.  

He is survived by his parents Adam M. Hornberger, Sr., Reinholds, and Roxanne H. (nee' Himmelberger) Hornberger and fiancé, Richard L. Kitch Jr.. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Vincent J., Gabriel J. & Carson J. Hornberger; his children's mother: Sunny C. Kirelawich; his brother: Adam M. Hornberger, Jr and wife, Jennifer L. Jacobs-Hornberger; three nephews: Adam M. Hornberger, III, Tyler J. Hornberger, Tayden L. Hornberger; two nieces: Mia E. Jacobs, Marissa A. Jacobs and his great-nephew: Adam M. Hornberger, IV. 

Celebration of life will be held from 2:00PM to 6:00PM, Friday January 25th at West Lawn United Methodist Church located at: 15 Woodside Ave, Reading, PA 19609. Family ask that you please bring your favorite dish, dessert and pictures to share. 

Memorial contributions in memory of James for funeral cost and college funds for his children may be made to Adam Hornberger, 1952 Lincoln Avenue, Reading, PA 19610.
