Robert M Karmonick, Sr.

Robert M. Karmonick, Sr., 54, of Shillington passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Reading Hospital surrounded by LOVING Family and Friends.

He was the loving husband of Stacey A. (McDermott) Karmonick. Bobby and Stacey recently celebrated 25 years of marriage.

He was a proud and amazing father to their children Robbie and Sami.

Born in Hazelton on September 2, 1965, son of the late John and Ann (Calvani) Karmonick. Robert was a graduate of Hazelton High School.

Surviving in addition to his wife is son, Robert M. Karmonick, Jr.; daughter, Samantha A. Karmonick; ; a brother, Peter Marsicano husband of Marci; a sister, Helen Dea, brother Ed Putens and sister-in-law Becky Putens, In-laws David and Maryhelen McDermott; sister-in-law, Kelly wife of Frank Ferrindino; brother-in-law, Michael McDermott husband of Debra; nieces & nephews,
Amber, Peter M., Ceclia, Owen, Margaret, Christian, Amy, Ryan, David, and Jessica; several great nieces & nephews; and several cousins.

Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also played Bass guitar in many rock bands in Northeast PA including "Strider", "Fallacy", "Kartune", "Rock Candy", and "Double Exposure".  

He was of Catholic faith.

He was employed at Russell Plywood in West Reading for the past 17 years.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
