Barbara Anne Roberts

Barbara Anne (Fertig) Roberts, age 83, of Myerstown passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center in Lebanon.

Her husband, Pleas Monroe Roberts, Jr. died on March 4, 1985.

She was born in Lebanon on May 24, 1941 the daughter of the late Allen John Fertig and the late Evelyn Elizabeth (Albright) Fertig.

She was a 1958 graduate of Lebanon High School.

Barbara worked as an Administrative Assistant in Human Resources for 40 years, last at the VA Medical Center in Lebanon and prior for the Department of Defense in Germany.

She embraced technology and loved keeping in touch with family and friends via social media. She enjoyed watching TV, especially the Game Show Network.

She was a devoted loving mother and advocate for her disabled son Michael.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth R. Fiorini (Tony), and Kathryn A. Roberts; a brother, Allen C. Fertig; five grandchildren, Matthew Lehman (Emily), Amanda Lehman, Melissa Schaeffer, Laura Fiorini and Natalie Fiorini; seven great grandchildren, Bryce, Kaden, Kassidy, Madelynn, Lincoln, Sophia, and Hannah; and her beloved cats Pudge & Callie.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael A. Roberts, who died on October 28, 2012.

A graveside committal service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 11:00 am at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
