Darrell D Schaeffer

Darrell D. Schaeffer, 64, of Womelsdorf, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, in Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg.

He was the husband of Cindy R. (neé Prince) Schaeffer.

Born Wednesday, April 2, 1958, in Reading, he was a son of the late Robert & Ruth (neé Weider) Schaeffer.

A 1977 graduate of Fleetwood High School, Darrell was MVP in basketball at Fleetwood, loved hunting, camping, boating, hanging out with friends at all the area social clubs and playing with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his foster parents: Paul & Suzanne Ernst, his children: Nicole L. Falk (Evan), Nicholas P. Schaeffer, & Robert Wessner; his grandchildren: Finnegan & Fallyn; and his siblings: Arlene Snyder, Dawn Bordman, Callie DiBlasi, Mark Schaeffer, Walter Godshall, & Susan Bashore.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 12, 2022, at 11 AM from the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E High St., Womelsdorf, with the Rev. June E. Bair, officiating.  Burial will follow in Womelsdorf Union Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call Monday, from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.  www.mullfh.com
