Dennis T. Warne

Dennis T. Warne, age 76, of Womelsdorf passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Penn State St. Joseph Medical with his family by his side.

He was the loving husband of 48 years to Lorraine (Barretta) Warne.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 14, 1949 a son of the late Lynus D. and Elsie (Waldron) Warne.

He was a graduate of Smithtown High School in New York.

Dennis retired from Verizon which was previously New York Telephone, Nynex, and Bell Atlantic. He was last working at the Lititz Planing Mill.

He enjoyed reading, especially history and political science books, and was a cooking enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, Lorraine, he is survived by a daughter, Sarah E. Warne; two step-daughters, Laura Kennedy and Nancy Bahnsen; and a brother, Daniel Warne.

He was also predeceased by a step-daughter, Jennifer Barone.

Services will be private.
