Donald McCole, Sr. Obituary

Donald F. McCole, Sr., 91, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the early morning hours Monday, February 7, 2022, in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Joyce W. (Weber) McCole.

Born Tuesday, December 2, 1930, in Womelsdorf, he was a son of the late

Eugene L. & Annie E (Leininger) McCole.

Donald served in the military for 21 years and was a Retired Master Sergeant of the US Air Force. In addition to serving our country he worked for Carl Keener and Roland Feeg from the age of 12 until his mid 70's.  He was also a truck driver, school bus driver and worked as an electrician for The Palmer Corporation.

Donald was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.  He made an impact on everyone he met, and anyone who had the opportunity to know him was lucky to have had him in their lives.

Donald, you will forever be missed and loved.  We love you to the moon and back.

In addition to his loving wife, Joyce, he is survived by 

his children: Donald F. McCole, Jr., Carla T. McCole, Stephanie Satterfield, Jody Freeman, & James Freeman; 11 grandchildren: Leanne (Satterfield) Hirneisen, Thomas Satterfield, Essence McCole, Chelsie McCole, Sheldon McCole, Dakota Freeman, Jake Freeman, Devin Freeman, Mya Diaz-Cruz, Cameron Freeman, & Lindy Pfaff; 16 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Reed, Mason, Sarah, Landon, Liam, Ebony, Brantley, Zariah, Xander, Forrest, April, Bryson, Kynlee, Blayton, Zykari

He was predeceased by: his son: David A. McCole; his grandson: Jonathan Freeman; his sister: Betty Yeingst; and his brother: Eugene McCole.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
