Donald K. Speicher

Donald K. Speicher, age 89, of Robesonia passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at his residence.

His wife of 64 years, Martha M. (Fry) Speicher died on December 1, 2020.

He was born in Marion Twp. on September 3, 1935 a son of the late Earl J. and Myrl M. (Showers) Speicher.

He was a 1953 graduate of Robesonia High School.

Donald worked at Textile Machine Works and retired from Rockwell International after 40 years of employment.

He loved playing golf, watching all sports, playing cards with his buddies, traveling the country with his late wife, and going to the casinos.

He is survived by two sons, Gordon K. Speicher husband of Kathy, and Scott M. Speicher husband of Sherry; two brothers, Marvin Speicher husband of Shirley, and Harold Speicher husband of Mary; sister in law, Lynn M. Richardson wife of John; and a loving grandfather to four grandchildren, Kenneth Speicher (Lauren), Dustin Speicher (Carrie), Shayna Sidick (Justin), and Amber Speicher; and eight great-grandchildren, Cole, Asher, Jude, Oliver, Ivy, Abel, Elijah, and Jayce.

Services will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 7:30 pm at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia, with Pastor Larry Longenecker officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Cole Funeral Home.

Burial will be private at Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia.
