Edward D. Kissling, age 82, of Robesonia passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Reading Hospital with his family by his side.
He was the loving husband of 60 years to Joan E. (Benzel) Kissling.
He was born in North Heidelberg Twp., on Wednesday, March 3, 1943, a son of the late William and Anna (Dussinger) Kissling.
Ed worked at Gloray Knitting Mills for 27 years and retired from Sonoco Products in Robesonia.
He was a member of North Heidelberg U.C.C. and a member of the Penny Hill Whitetails Hunting Camp in Sullivan County. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, camping, spending time with family, and traveling, especially to Ocean City, MD with his family and beloved dog Nikki. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his three children, Deana M. Kissling (Robert Reiter), David E. Kissling (Kimberly), and Daniel W. Kissling (Nicole Moore); a sister, Mary Jane Beidler; five grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Emily, Matthew, and Adam; a great granddaughter, Hannah; and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, James, Mildred, John, Arlene, Melvin, Carl, Russell, and Thomas.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia, with Pastor Fred Diehl officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Cole Funeral Home.
