Eric E. Nelson, Sr.

Eric E. Nelson, Sr., age 76, of Stouchsburg passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at his residence.

He was born in Elmhurst, NY on February 17, 1947 a son of the late Edward and Nora (Hickey) Nelson.

Eric attended Thomas A Edison High School in Jamaica, New York having graduated as a Commercial Artist.

Eric entered the Army at age 18.  Served at VungTau as MP with Sentry Dog Handler 212th MP Company.

Eric was an avid antiquer and enjoyed going to Adamstown on Sunday mornings to see all the vendors.

Eric helped many vets join the VP and helped them with getting benefits through the Lebanon VA.

He is survived by a community of family and friends who loved him.

A private burial with Military Honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
