Eric C Ruth

Eric C. Ruth, 58, of Womelsdorf passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on November 25, 1961 in West Reading, PA to Mary Ann (Kurtz) and George Ruth. Eric graduated from Oley Valley High School in 1979 and earned his associate degree in architectural engineering from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in 1990. He lived and worked for many years near his hometown as a trained cabinetmaker and a painter, and enjoyed fishing in the nearby lakes. Eric was a caring father, often giving handy tips on car maintenance and homecare to his daughter. He was close with his parents, visiting them frequently and helping with yard work. He was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Womelsdorf. In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his loving daughter, Jessica L. Ruth (Alex Ritchey); his sister, Margo DeRouchie; a niece and nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew J. Ruth. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Mull Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Womelsdorf is handling arrangements.
