Gail S (DeLong) Groff

Gail S. Groff, 71, of Richland, passed away in the evening hours Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Kim D. Groff, to whom she had been married for nearly 50 years.

Born Tuesday, April 27, 1954, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Marvin H. & Harriet JE DeLong, née Donton.

A 1972 graduate of Tulpehocken High School, she worked as a secretary for Rigid Ply Rafters & the former Carlos R. Leffler, both of Richland.

She was a member of Richland Community Bible Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Phillip H. (Cynthia G.) Groff & Peter D. (Stacy) Groff; her grandchildren: Kaitlynn (Aaron) Prince, Zachary Groff, Lincoln Groff, & Lucy Groff; and by her sisters: Rosemary (David) Lamm & Brenda (Roger) Kintzer. She was predeceased by her brother: Timothy DeLong.

Services will be held Saturday Sept. 27th at 11:00am in her church, Richland Community Bible Church, 215 S. Race St., Richland, PA  17087, with Pastor Bill Wink, officiating. The family invites everyone to remain after the service for a luncheon and fellowship.
