Geraldine E. "Gerrie" (Behney) Barringer

Geraldine E. “Gerrie” Barringer, 89, of Robesonia, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, in the Reading Hospital.  Born in N. Heidelberg Twp., she was a daughter of the late Paul G. & Matilda B. (née Hull) Behney.  Gerrie was a custodian for the Conrad Weiser School District until her retirement.  She is survived by her friend, Jeanette Gechter, and my many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her friend, Betty J. Stough, and by her siblings: Ruth Coleman, Sandra Hoyer, Kathryn “Kitty” Field, Wendel Behney, and Harry Behney.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11 AM, from the Cole Funeral Home, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia, PA  1955, with the Rev. Rebecca Knox, officiating.  Burial will be private in Bern Cemetery.  www.mullfh.com
