Gladys M. Ohlinger

Gladys M. Ohlinger, age 82, of Heidelberg Twp. passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at StoneRidge Towne Center in Myerstown.

Born in Stricklerstown on February 20, 1941 a daughter of the late Moses and Alma (Bomberger) Dierwechter.

She was a graduate of Schaefferstown High School and the Lebanon School of Nursing.

Gladys last worked many years as an L.P.N. at the Wernersville State Hospital.

She was a member of St. John’s (Hain’s) U.C.C, the Womelsdorf V.F.W., and the Womelsdorf Rod & Gun. She enjoyed playing bingo, bird watching, making candy, crocheting, and playing card games with family, especially with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Norman L. Ohlinger (Laurie), and David L. Ohlinger; two daughters, Linda A. Saul (Brian), and Gloria D. Cardoso (Elias); a sister, Arlene Wenger; six grandchildren, Wayne, Victoria, Stephanie, Brianne, Olivia, and Nicolas; and ten great grandchildren, Justin, Dante, Mya, Evy, Graciee, Lydia, Chase, Maddison, David, and Jacob.

She was predeceased by two sisters, June Kohr and Anna Englehart.

Services will be held at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow at Hain’s Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Cole Funeral Home.
