Janice Carman Obituary

Janice M. Carman, 83, of Wernersville passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.

Her husband, Frank K. Carman died in 1996.

Born in West Reading on July 20, 1937 a daughter of the late Raymond and Violet (Moyer) Godshall.

She was a 1955 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and a graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

Janice was a Registered Nurse for the Berks Visiting Nurses Association, and Vice President of Berks Home Care, retiring in 2000 after 40 years of service.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Robesonia where she was involved in the after school program. She was also a member of the Rajah Ladies Club, the Conrad Weiser Order of Eastern Star Chapter 251, the Reading Hospital Nurses Alumni, and in her spare time she enjoyed reading.

She is survived by a son, Alan B. Carman husband of Lori; two grandsons, Aaron Carman husband of Julie-Anne, and Adam Carman; and a great grandson, Charlie

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, June 10th from 5:30 to 8:00pm at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia.

Interment at Laureldale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 108 S. Robeson St., Robesonia, PA 19551.
