John I. Tschudy, III

John I. Tschudy, III, age 55, of Newmanstown passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.

His wife, Diana L. (Leibig) Tschudy passed away on August 12, 2019.

He was born in Hershey, PA on November 21, 1968 a son of Anna Mae (Dundore) Tschudy, of Newmanstown, and the late John I. Tschudy, Jr.

John was a 1986 graduate of Palmyra High School and a graduate of Lebanon County Career and Technology Center.

He was last working as a mechanic and road crewman for Millcreek Twp. and served on the Newmanstown Water Authority.

John loved going to his hunting camp in Juniata County, and going on trips to Raystown Lake and Florida.

In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his cherished daughter, Sierra P. Tschudy, of Newmanstown; sister, Wendy Johnson, of Mechanicsburg; brother, Kenneth Tschudy, of Newmanstown; father-in-law, Donald R. Liebig, of Newmanstown; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Leibig, of Newmanstown, Barbara Risser, of Richland, Dawn Leibig, of Newmanstown, and Donna Miller (Larry), of Richland; several nieces & nephews; and his beloved dog, Gunner.

A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from Noon to 3:00 PM at Millcreek Lutheran Church Social Hall, 221 N. Sheridan Rd., Newmanstown.
