Juan Martinez Maldonado

Juan Martinez Maldonado passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2026, at the age of 76, in Reading, PA. Born on July 4, 1949, a son of the late Juan Ruben Martinez and Emma Maldonado, Juan grew up in Guayanilla, attending Guayanilla High School, and spent his retired years in Reading Pa, and in Quebrada Honda, a borough of Guayanilla, P.R.

Juan was profoundly devoted to his family and friends, always ensuring that those he loved felt supported in every way possible. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Rosa Garcia Santiago, and their children: Juan and his wife Keristine, Xavier, Giovanni and his wife Casey, and Virgen and her fiance Eduardo.

Juan also leaves a lasting legacy through his beloved grandchildren Ericka, Mikaela, Mylo, Ema, Ava, Kaiden, Aurora, and great-granddaughter Cora. His extended family includes cherished siblings: Juan Ramon Martinez, Juan Ruben Martinez, Gerardo Velazquez, Clotilde Martinez, Olga Martinez, Norma Velazquez, & Emma Velazquez, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Mull Funeral Home and Cremation Services. There will be a private celebration of life. Juan's memory will continue to be honored by his family, who draw strength from the love, guidance, wisdom and support he provided throughout his life.
