Judith Drey Obituary

Judith D. Drey, 78, of Bern Twp., passed away in the morning hours Thursday, June 1, 2023, in her residence.

Born Sunday, October 22, 1944, in Wernersville, she was a daughter of the late Harry & Mary (née Schaeffer) Hollenbach.

A graduate of Wilson High School, she had worked for Baldwin Hardware until her retirement. Then she worked part time at Wilson School District as a Teacher’s Aide. In her free time, she loved to travel and take trips with family, model for artists at The Yocum Institute, dance the night away at the YR club on Friday nights, take rides on Dusty’s boat, and attend her great-grandkids activities. She spent her summer days at Wilshire Pool watching the great-grandchildren play and seeing what the snack bar had to offer. She was a dedicated Mother to her black, short-hair cat, Pretty Boy. Judy was an artist at heart with beautiful pieces of work displayed in her home, namely the famous Santa Clause clay sculptures she created. Judy was full of life, love, and laughter. She looked forward to her weekly Crossroads dates with her sister, lunch dates with Karen and friends, adventures with Deb, as well as her annual beach trip to Ocean City New Jersey.

She was a member of St. John’s (Hain’s) United Church of Christ, Wernersville baptized there on April 1, 1945 and confirmed on April 10, 1960.

She is survived by her son: Dustin L. (Monica) Riegel; her sister: Gloria Keagy; Three Grandchildren ; Brandon (Dana) Riegel, Mason Riegel & Kathryn Prutzman; Two Great-grandchildren; Addison Riegel and Jaxson Riegel.
