June Mountz Obituary
June E. Mountz, age 80, of Robesonia passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Reading Hospital with her family by her side.
On May 18, 1963 she married Barry L. Mountz, who survives to carry on her legacy.
She was born in West Reading on July 2, 1944 a daughter of the late Charles G. and Ruth M. (Kissling) Speicher.
She was a 1962 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School.
June worked in the Cafeteria for Conrad Weiser School District for many years, last as Cafeteria Manager.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Robesonia and was a former 4-H leader. She loved spending time with family, especially with her children and grandchildren. She also loved cooking, baking, gardening, crocheting, vacationing with her family, and playing cards & board games.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Daryl B. Mountz husband of Amy, Tina J. Vorhees wife of Kevin, and Tammy M. Lobaugh wife of Todd; a sister, Ann Riegel widow of John; and grandchildren, Cory W. Lobaugh, Sarah E. Vorhees, Austin M. Lobaugh fiance of Reilly Dearolf, and Rachel C. Vorhees.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Robesonia with Pastor Eileen Smith LeVan officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Church.
A private burial will take place at North Heidelberg Cemetery at a future date.
Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
