June M. Witmer, age 83, of Robesonia passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 in the comfort of her son’s home in Wernersville.
Her husband, Paul B. Witmer died in 2000.
She was born in Reading on June 29, 1941 a daughter of the late Roy and Martha (Lamb) Saul.
She was a 1960 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School.
June last worked at Crayon Corner Daycare in Womelsdorf and ran an in the home child care service for over 30 years. She also worked at Gloray Knitting Mill many years ago.
She was a former member of Zion’s & St. John’s (Reed’s) Lutheran Church in Stouchsburg and was currently attending Trinity Lutheran Church in Robesonia.
She loved spending time with family and her regular “Get Togethers” with her Class of 1960 classmates.
She is survived by two sons, Dale A. (Tammy) Witmer and Dean R. (Valarie) Witmer; sister, Gloria Manbeck; 9 grandchildren, Ryan, Courtney, Tyler, Mason, Casey, Alanna, Morgan, Delaney, and Nathan; and 12 great grandchildren, Darian, Nathan, Emily, Cameron, Holden, Chelsea, Clara, Shea, Fiona, Kai, Acari, and Alessia.
She was also predeceased by her son, Dion P. Witmer in 2020, and two sisters, Gladys Saul and Shirley Harman.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 12:30 pm at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia with Pastor Jennifer Dee officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Cole Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
