Mary E. Gregg
Obituary
Mary E. Gregg, age 82, formerly of Bethel Twp. passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 while residing at Berks Heim.
Her husband, Philip F. Gregg passed away on October 23, 1995.
Born in Tulpehocken Twp. on July 18, 1940 a daughter of the late Aaron and Carrie (Edris) Peiffer.
She was a graduate of Bethel High School.
Mary worked in the Advertising Department at A.W.I., Robesonia for 36 years and previously worked at the Paul R. Webber, Chrysler Garage in Rehrersburg.
She was a member of Host Church where she was involved in the MITE Society and played piano for worship services. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers and spending time with family.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy A. wife of Charles Zechman, III; six grandchildren, Amy, Sara, Kyle, James, Aaron, and Terri; and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Guy S. Gregg; a grandson, Hunter Gregg; a sister, Elsie Brightbill; and a brother, Allen Peiffer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:30am at Host Church, 80 Host Church Rd., Bernville, PA 19506.
The family will greet friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30am at the Church.
Interment will follow at Host Church Cemetery.
Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to Host Church at the above address.
