Mary Ellen (Knouse) Ressler

Mary Ellen Ressler, 92, of Robesonia, passed away in the evening hours Friday, October 24, 2025, in the Reading Hospital. She was the widow of the late Ellott J. Ressler, who died January 31, 1994. Born Tuesday, June 13, 1933, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Bud & Beulah Knouse. Mary Ellen was a lifelong insurance agent having worked for the former Speicher Insurance Agency, later Donnegal Insurance, and last for Billman & Co. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Robesonia. She is survived by her son: John M. (Jo) Ressler; her grandchildren: Josh (Sheila) Ressler, Adam (Lauren) Ressler, & Jacob Ressler, companion of Emily Hogan; her great-grandchildren: Kendall, Evelyn, Elliot, & Rylee; and by her brother: Robert Knouse. She was predeceased by her siblings: Betty Delucco, Susan Drusick, & Morris Knouse. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11 AM, from Trinity Lutheran Church, 108 S. Robeson St., Robesonia, with the Rev. Eileen Smith Levan, officiating.  Burial will follow in Heidelberg Cemetery.  The family will greet friends following the interment in the social hall of the church.  Kindly omit flowers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Harvest, 117 Morgan Drive, Sinking Spring, PA  19608.  The Mull Funeral Home, Womelsdorf, has charge.  www.mullfh.com
