Nancy L. Shutter

Nancy L. Shutter, age 77, of Wernersville passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ammon M. Shutter.

She was born in Reading on June 4, 1947 the daughter of the late Donald and Mary (Kauffman) Ruszkiewicz.

She was a 1964 graduate of Reading High School

Nancy retired from Manor Care in Sinking Spring as a C.N.A., after over 30 years of employment.

She enjoyed cooking & baking, and loved animals, especially horses and birds.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer L. Heller (Ronnie Houck); a son, Jeff D. Heller (Rhonda); and three grandchildren, Alexa Wagner (Steve), Zach Heller, and Jessie Hoffman.

A Memorial Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508 or to an animal rescue of your choice.
