Patricia A (Onkst) Shelow

Patricia A. Shelow, 82, of Heidelberg Township, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, in her residence. She was the widow of the late Wayne W. Shelow, who died March 16, 2021.            Born Friday, October 24, 1941, in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Cloyd & Ethel (neé Neely) Onkst. A 1959 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, she worked at Post Precision Castings, Strausstown, and at Rite Aid, Womelsdorf.  She enjoyed going to the casinos, crafting and Elvis Presely. She is survived by her sons: Gerald S. (Renee), Wayne P., Todd A. (Jaclyn); daughter in law: Dee “Donna” Gromis; sister: Joan M. Balthaser; grandchildren: Jamie Shelow Skelton, Jennifer Gernert, Tyler Shelow; great-grandchildren: Raylynn Boyer, Justin Skelton; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son: Robert W. Shelow; and siblings: Bonnie Plempel & Robert H. Onkst. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 4 - 6 PM at the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E High St., Womelsdorf. Services will begin Wednesday at 6 PM with the Rev. Mary Etta Mest, officiating. Burial in Presbyterian Cemetery of Hollidaysburg. www.mullfh.com
