Philip Graham Perkins of Robesonia, Pennsylvania, born in Birmingham England on May 9, 1948 to Elizabeth Mary and Allen Thomas Perkins, brother of Allen Roger Perkins (deceased) and twin brother of David William Perkins (Sima), died peacefully on January 11, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Philip is survived by his wife of 51 years, Priscilla Mary Perkins (Carslake) and children, Catherine (Jim Symanek), Philip (Erin), Gordon (Sarah Krisch), Allen (Ashley), Michael (Diana), and Rebecca (Tyler Bozzuto).
Philip is also survived by grandchildren Emma, Juliet, Philip, Henry, Alexander, Oliver, Violet, Matthew, Victoria, and Charlotte.
Philip was a compassionate doctor, teacher, and man of many interests who loved his family, British and German cars, the Duke of Duckworth, deep sea fishing, beer brewing and tasting, astronomy, farming, sailing, skiing, and model building.
He taught us patience because we have "all the time in the world," impatience with "it's time for a gasper," and how to be polite and kind with "manners maketh man." He went through life with a spark in his brilliant blue eyes and a smile that we will remember forever. He will be missed by everyone he encountered throughout his long and fulfilling life.
In lieu of a funeral, the family will be celebrating Philip's life together on a boat in North Carolina at his favorite fishing spot.
