Ralph L Gerhart

Ralph L. Gerhart, 86, of Cumru Twp., passed away in the morning hours 

Monday, November 1, 2021, of natural causes in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Lorraine L. (neé Spangler) Gerhart.

Born Tuesday, June 4, 1935, in Reading, he was a son of the late

Cyrus H. & Carrie R. (neé Hornberger) Gerhart.

Having served in the US Army, Ralph was a warehouse foreman for Progress Electric.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step children:

Debra L. (Richard) Smith, 

Mitchell S. Schwartz, & 

Steven S. Schwartz; 

his sister: 

Trudy (Albert) Beidler; 

and his step-grandchildren: 

Michael J. (Denise) Smith, 

Brianna (Anthony) Ranalli, 

Ashley Schwartz,

Aleea Schwartz, &

Nichole Wentzel; 

and step great grandchildren:

Julia Smith, 

Joe Smith, & 

Alma Ranalli.

He was predeceased by his siblings: 

Kathryn Seudel, 

Geraldine Hager, 

Linda Gerhart, 

Richard Gerhart, 

Cyrus Gerhart Jr. & 

John Gerhart.

Graveside services will be 

Thursday November 11, 2021, at NOON 

in Womelsdorf Union Cemetery, with the Rev. June E. Bair, officiating.
