Richard Shaffer Obituary
Richard B. “Dick” Shaffer, age 91, of Wernersville passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at The Lutheran Home at Topton.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carol A. (Williams) Shaffer.
He was born in Reading on August 31, 1933 a son of the late Walter and Florence (Miller) Shaffer.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
Dick was employed at Graffius Burial Vault Company, Sinking Spring for 47 years.
He and his wife are members of Glad Tidings Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Candace Yost (Mike), Todd Shaffer (Judith), Lori Adam (Mike), and Daren Shaffer (Jan); a brother, Terry Shaffer; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
He was predeceased two sisters, Marian and Betty; and a brother, Sonny.
Services and burial will be private.
Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
