Robert L. Hassler, Sr.

Robert L. Hassler, Sr., age 78, of Wernersville passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of 57 years to Carol A. (Blimline) Hassler.

Born in Reading on May 21, 1943 a son of the late Sadie (Fitterling) and David Hassler, Sr.

Robert retired from Rockwell International after 37 years of service.

He was a life member of the Fritztown Fire Company; and enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, card games, and trips to the casino.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Robert L. Hassler, Jr.; a brother, David Hassler, Jr.; a sister, Peggy Schaeffer; and three grandchildren, Erica, Heath, and Kyle.

He was predeceased by a brother, Harold Hassler; and sisters, Ruth Boyer, Grace Showaker, and Noreen Ochs.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10:30am at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:30am at the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.
