Ronald L. Graffius, age 84, formerly of Reading and Muhlenberg Twp. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 while residing at The Residence at Village Greens in Sinking Spring.
He was the loving husband of 63 years to Nancy L. (Evans) Graffius.
He was born in Reading on September 17, 1940 a son of the late Leonard and Anna (Papola) Graffius.
He was a 1958 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for four and a half years as a Flight Engineer.
Ron retired from Fraser Advanced Information Systems in West Reading as the Equipment Services Trainer.
He was a Past Master and a 50+ year member of Lodge #62 F. & A.M., Reading; a member of the Rajah Shrine, the Legion of Honor, and the Tall Cedars.
Ron truly enjoyed traveling with his wife and family, especially trips to Watkins Glen in New York.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, James M. Graffius (Rebecca); a granddaughter, Victoria R. Graffius; a brother, LeRoy Graffius; and a sister, Lori Katzin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin “Jay” Graffius in 2020.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 10:30 am Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia with the Reverend Richard Brensinger officiating.
For those family and friends that are unable to attend the service Monday morning, a visitation with the family will be held on Monday evening, May 12th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Cole Funeral Home, with a Masonic Service following at 7:00 pm.
A private burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
