Russel James Good

Russel James Good, 79, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the afternoon hours Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Fairlane Gardens Nursing & Rehab at Reading.

Born Sunday, July 15, 1945, in Womelsdorf, he was a son of the late George J. & June M. (née Uhler) Good.

Russel was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Womelsdorf.

A 1963 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, he retired from the former Hoffmann Industries, having worked as a forklift operator.

He is survived by his nieces & nephews: Kevin (Patricia) Sechrist, Keith (Jacqueline) Sechrist, Lori (Dennis) Brennan, Kathy (Kevin) Messner, Bridgid (Kevin) Good; his sister- in-law, Vicki Good, widow of George Good; by his great nieces and nephews: Jason (Amanda) Sechrist, Michael Dry, Megan (Chris) Rothermel, Caitlin (Derek) Gutshall, Sean Sechrist, Thaddeus (Samantha) Dry, Sarah Sechrist, Logan Gorski and Aidyn Gorski as well as 10 great great nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his siblings: George D. Good & Shirley A. Sechrist.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:30 AM, from the Mull Funeral Home, 27 E. High St., Womelsdorf, PA  19567, with the Rev. Dr. Wayne A. Heintzelman, officiating.  Burial will follow in Womelsdorf Union Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call Thursday, from 9:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home.www.mullfh.com
