Sherry Lynn (Calabro) Schaeffer

Sherry Lynn Schaeffer, 66, of Womelsdorf, passed away in the afternoon hours Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of James P. Schaeffer, Jr. Born Wednesday, September 9, 1959, in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Michael A. & Marian L. Calabro, née Leininger. A 1977 Graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, Sherry worked in the offices of Dutch Way, and also was an aide for Crayon Corner Daycare, in Womelsdorf. She enjoyed cooking, family vacations, animals, reading, sewing, and the outdoors. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Joey (Alexis) Schaeffer, Tim Schaeffer, & Samantha Schaeffer; grandchildren: Gavin, Regan, Piper, & Freyja; and siblings: Robyn (Fred) Erby & Gary Calabro; niece: Nichole Erby & nephew: Ryan Erby. At Sherry’s request, there are to be no services held.
