Terry R. Batz

Terry R. Batz, 75, of Bethel passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at home.

He was the husband of the late Sandra A. (Boyer) Batz who passed away on June 14, 2011.

Terry was born in the house where he has lived for 75 years. Born on October 13, 1946 a son of the late Earl E. and Laura M. (Blatt) Batz.

He attended Bethel High School.

He was a school bus driver for Tulpehocken School District for 36 years and a farmer all his life. He also owned T&S Sales, selling farm seeds to local farmers.

He was a member of Trinity U.C.C., Rehrersburg where he served on consistory.

Terry loved farming and hunting. He loved his daughter, granddaughters, and his great grandchildren.

Surviving is his daughter, Michelle Sholl (Evan); granddaughters, Kristen Kramer (Randy), and Sharon Sholl; great grandchildren, Lane, Kinleigh, and Stetson; nephews, Randy, Ricky Sr., and Ernest Batz, Jr.; and a niece Cindy Weinhold.

He was predeceased by brother, Ernest L. Batz, Sr. in 2020.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1:00pm at Trinity U.C.C., Rehrersburg.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:30 to 1:00pm at the Church.

Interment will follow at Salem Reformed Cemetery, Bethel.

Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements.
