Thomas E. Plasket

Thomas E. Plasket, age 73, of Womelsdorf passed away on December 23, 2025 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the loving husband of 48 years to Anita M. (Speca) Plasket. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, John Plasket and Michael Plasket; two brothers, Howard Plasket and Fred Plasket; and a sister, Martha Jean Eichfeld.

Tom was born in Camden, NJ and raised in Glassboro, NJ, a son of the late Howard and Melvina Plasket.

He was a graduate of Glassboro High School and attended Glassboro State College.

Early in his career, Tom was a radio announcer and auto salesman, later working in advertising sales. He also produced radio and TV commercials for local businesses and was a freelance voice-over artist.

Tom appreciated simple pleasures - a good meal, an interesting  conversation, or an afternoon snooze on the sofa. He also enjoyed all aspects of music and was an excellent singer. A dedicated fan of the movie “Tombstone,” he could recite all of the dialogue right along with the actors.

Tom’s most precious treasure were the people that he held dear - Anita, John, Michael, and his large circle of friends. Joe, Dennis, Keith, Carl, Rick, classmates from Glassboro and so many others truly enriched his life and made his stay here on earth a happy one.

He was an exceptional man and his light in this world will be missed by many.
