Tina M. “Bean” (Butkus) Grier, age 58, received her angel wings on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, three months after being shot while she slept in her Reading apartment.
She was a 1984 graduate of Wilson High School and last worked in house-keeping at Phoebe Berks in Wernersville.
She leaves behind her parents, Jean A. (Swartz) Butkus and Francis A. (Merrie) Butkus; sisters, Connie Schaeffer (David) and Holly Manbeck (James); half brothers, George Butkus (Mike Rothenberger) and David Butkus (Crystal); longtime friend, Shari Evans; nieces & nephews, Noah, Trevor, & Megan, and Dustin & Elizabeth; and she also leaves behind a husband William T. Grier.
Tina will always be remembered for her infectious smile, happy go lucky attitude, and love of animals. Tina was a huge fan and adored Dolly Parton, the song “I Will Always Love You” rings true for anyone that knew and loved Tina.
Services will be private.
