Wayne E. Moyer, age 81, of Newmanstown, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Celebration Villa in Exeter Township.
He was the loving husband of 38 years to Margo A. (Jayne) Moyer.
He was born in Reading on July 13, 1944, a son of the late Wilson L. and Verna M. (Zerbe) Moyer.
Wayne was a graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He was employed at Walter H. Grimes Appliance in Womelsdorf for 36 years.
Wayne attended Zion Church in Myerstown. He was an avid collector of 1/16-scale tractors, enjoyed woodworking, and will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and was the best Pop Pop ever!
Family meant a lot to Wayne, and he always maintained a very close relationship with his brothers.
In addition to his wife, Margo, he is survived by a daughter, Tracey Kershner (Zachary); a son, Michael Moyer; two step-sons, Christopher Halpin (Lora) and Matthew Halpin (Julie); a step-daughter, Claudia Sellers (Gary); a sister, Jeanne Bare (Lee); and six grandchildren: Karleigh, Samuel, Mason, Owen, Gracie, and Cara.
He was also preceded in death by five siblings: Marie Bertram, Luther Moyer, Ray Moyer, Dennis Moyer, and Barbara Moyer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 402 E. Penn Ave., Robesonia.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Cole Funeral Home.
Inurnment will follow at Host Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to Zion Church, 22 E. Main Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
