William Lee Ressler

William L. “Billy” Ressler, 77, of Heidelberg Township, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Diane R. (neé Schaefer) Ressler.

Born Saturday, December 21, 1946, in West Reading, he was a son of the late William S. & Ruth (neé Vanart) Ressler.

Billy was a Vietnam Veteran having served from April 1966 - April 1968.  He retired from Reading Alloys in 2009.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Kim Ressler & B.J. Ressler, husband of Stacey; his grandchildren: Tyler Ressler & Sam Ressler, husband of Brielle; his great-granddaughter: Hazel Ressler; and his sister: Connie Heckman.

Billy was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors.  He was a member of the VFW Post 6150, Sinking Spring, Cushion Peak Rod & Gun, and Lebanon Valley Sportsman’s Club.
